Hello. My name is Solveig, which, if you're not from Norway/Scandinavia, seems like a really weird name, I think. It mean, translated from norwegian, "Sun"+"Road" + a 'g'. Yeah, that's my name, but over the last months/year I've been used to the name "Sahalino" or "Sahahalino" online. It came from about... 8-9 months ago, and it was one of my online friends who came up with it. I was just getting to know some people on a norwegian Harry Potter RPG (roleplaying game) site, and they were wondering what my real name was. I didn't want to tell them, but I said it started with a 'S'. They guessed a lot of names, but didn't get it right. After a little while they didn't want to try more, so one of them said something like: "We give you another name, what about "Sahalino"? I thought it was cool, and even though I told them my real name after a while, I still kept the name I was given by my friends. I both have a twitter account and a YouTube channel called "Sahahalino". I put the extra 'ha' in because there were already a person on YouTube called "Sahalino".
This is, counting my Tumblr that I just use for following people, my fifth blog. One of them I made, but never used. I've also been a member of two blogs with 7-10 other people. They were all people from the Harry Potter RPG site, and we made first one blog, but a stupid person hacked it, and then we made a another one. No one use that blog anymore, and I think many of us have our own blogs now.
Now I'm trying to have a more serious blog, in English, and I'll see how it goes. I have the blog because I want to write, so it's gonna be long posts, but I'll try to keep it interesting for the people who like the things I'm writing about.
Pictures? Yes, I'll have pictures, both drawings and photos, if they fit the subject. I'll not just have a random picture of a flower, found in google images search.
I don't think I'm gonna have the type "wake up-eat breakfast-go to school-comes home etc." type of posts. Because personally I think they're really boring.
Sometimes they'll be about me, sometimes about things that I find interesting. But not much about fashion and make-up and stuff like that. I'm not that sort of teenager. I'll also try not to burst out with my sad stories about my school or anything. You can visit my twitter account for things like that.
I think that if you look at the 'about me' section you will find out if you think the blog will fit what you want to read. If not, I will try to explain in the two-three first sentences in the post what it's gonna be about, so you can skip it if it sounds uninteresting.
